Gubzy’s teamed up with Akhtar Hussain Akhtar to bring the world Aja Veh Dholana

Well known music producer Gubzy has teamed up with the master of lyrics Akhtar Hussain Akhtar in his new release on the record label: G Beat Records UK. Gubzy who has been a part of some of the biggest bands of the past in the bhangra market and has worked with the likes of Malkit Singh and others is back with a bang, this time with the lyrical maestro Akhtar Hussain Akhtar.

His previous single ”Midland Boyz” released in 2012 proved to be a huge hit after debuting at #NO 1 in the world music charts. It regularly features as a dance floor Bhangra anthem.

Akhtar who has penned lyrics for the likes of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Shazia Manzoor and hundreds of others has teamed up with Gubzy for this realease.

Akhtar Hussain Akhtar is a world respected poet and has penned some of the most famous and well known Punjabi songs to date such as Aaja Sohniya’ by Shazia Manzoor, ‘Dholna’ by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as well as UK artists Hunters, Jazzy B, Sona Walia, Asif Khan, Jassi Sidhu to name but a few. Born and raised in Lahore Pakistan, Akhtar Hussain Akhtar began writing his aspiring poetry at a young age for commercial studios and film industries and very quickly became successful and recognised around the world. Akhtar Hussain Akhtar spent a substantial amount of time living and residing beside professor Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan helping co-produce arrange and write further songs for him. Akhtar Hussain Akhtar is currently living in the United Kingdom focusing on todays upbeat music and poetry teachings.
