Acclaimed singer Mona Singh makes a return after six years away with her superb comeback single Koka Silver Da which is out now on all digital platforms.
The crown princess of British Bhangra has collaborated with a top team for the global release, including popular Bollywood songwriter Kumaar, renowned Punjabi Music Director Jatinder Shah and her legendary father Channi Singh, who has produced the catchy dance number.
The latest single is yet another chapter on the journey of this award-winning artist who has helped pave the way for other Punjabi female artists. “It had to be a very special song because I have been away from the scene for so long and Koka Silver Da certainly is. I had great fun putting the single together and was blessed to be working with a great team. I hope people like the song as much as we enjoyed producing it and am really excited to see the reaction,” said Mona.
Koka Silver Da is Mona’s first single release since her 2010 smash hit duet Saadi Marzi, with late great singing legend Labh Janjua. The song is accompanied by an eye-catching music video shot by director Sandeep Sharma, which shows Mona has lost none of her magic. The new release is one of many exciting songs the London based singer/songwriter has on the way via her family’s in house record label Sargam Productions.
The magical Mona is now back for good and ready to cast another spell on the music industry, which has previously included three globally successful albums and hit singles.
